Egri Chardonnay Battonage Monarchia Winery Region: Hungary Vintage: 2005 Price: $15.99       This well known varietal adapts well to the terroir of the Eger region and features the qualities of its origins in Burgundy, as well as the new world style found in other regions. Barrel aging adds tones of honey and vanilla that intermingle with fruit characteristics of peaches, pears and apples. Volcanic soils add a unique mineral quality that coupled with vivid acidity, makes this a perfect choice for exotic hors doeuvres, fish or poultry.

Riesling Cave Spring Region: Niagra Peninsula, Canada Vintage: 2006 Price: $11.99       The noble Riesling grape is perfectly suited to the climate and soil of Niagara. This particular wine originates from mineral-rich clay soils found along the benchlands of the niagara Escarpment and southern shore of Lake Ontario. Dry in style, it exhibits the citrus fruit and mineral acidity unique to Riesling grown in these areas.

Zinfandel R & B Cellars Region: California Vintage: 2006 Price: $12.99       The wonderful fresh berry fruit combines with the smooth French and American oak flavors to achieve a super harmony in the bouquet and taste. The Old Vine Zinfandel has a zesty complexity, color complexity and soft mouthfeel. The Petite Sirah enhances the structure and color of the wine and punches up the darker berry fruit character in the wine. The bouquet shows fresh strawberry and raspberry with hints of pepper and spice. The flavors are ripe berry with creamy cherries and an elegant spicy aftertaste.
